Conditions of Hire
Prices quoted are for a 48 hour hire period, unless otherwise agreed. If hire period falls on a weekend then items will be delivered on the Friday and be collected on the Monday. Longer hire periods are available.
If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of the agreed delivery/collection date then a 50% charge will be applied.
All goods hired remain the property of Smart Settings
All containers must be returned with the hired goods. a charge will be made for non return
All cutlery, crockery and glassware must be scraped clean
Any goods returned, other than those supplied, will be held for the client's collection for two weeks and then disposed of.
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to property and will be liable for the replacement cost of any item, no substitute items will be accepted.
Unless stated in the quote, there will be a wash up charge of 50% of the total order for any items returned dirty
The hirer is responsible for checking the order upon delivery or when being collected
Any items that are not returned at the agreed date will be charged at 50% of the total hire price per day it is late.
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile
Items can be picked up by the hirer, in which case no extra delivery charges will be applied
No responsibility will be accepted by Smart Settings for injury or damage caused by the use of hired equipment
Items are to be stacked in the correct containers in a safe manner, as they were when delivered
The decision from Smart Settings is final
